In the third assignment, we were asked to do the final prototype of the client, but before that we were assigned to create two storyboard which are based onto the second assignment scenario. We were requested to make the storyboard as clear as possible alongside with some smiley displaying the emotions of the user. In this article, I will talk about the journey and experience i learned from the UX design principle.

Client Brief : Sustainability Victoria

The client brief was to educate the Victorian people about how to grow their own crops and providing recipe to them as stated into the client brief.

Storyboarding

Before developing the sketches of the storyboard, we had to choose among the scenarios we created in assignment two. After that we could proceed to the sketches.

Scenario 1
Scenario 2

These was the two scenarios selected to developed their storyboard. The storyboard should demonstrate the lifestyle of the user and how the application would help the user to tackle his/her problems.

Storyboard 2

After the storyboard was created, the next part was to make the A|B split screen where crucial feedback would be received based on what we would create for the final one. 3– 4 screen was design and link to make the user understand of what we wanted to produce and how the visual would be.

USER TESTING REPORT

For the User testing report, I had to interview 5 participants and make screen capture recordings through zoom and skype. These participants had to test my A/B Split test prototype while I will be asking them questions in real time. Their feedback was recorded and make into practice.

Here you would fine the 2 link of the A|B split test:

After the record and recommendation suggested by the user the final prototype was design and link using Figma.

Final Prototype

PROTOTYPE SUMMARY

Challenges:

The challenging part was to link all the screen as i had some difficulties while linking them. Including animations and micro-interactions was indeed very challenging and interesting as well. Some element was not working and had to change and include another till the prototype works well.

Difficulties:

The difficulties was for the user testing as i had to see when the user could be free to do the testing and having internet problems connection.

Resulting changes:

The final prototype chosen was the A one as it was suggested by most of the user. Some modifications was carried based onto the feedback of the users. I have changed the font type, the carousel pictures and added some more interactivity point and icon to guide the user.
